This publication identifies best practices for enhancing sustainability in the Chicago region. The four targeted stakeholder groups include homeowners, designers, developers/owners, and facility managers. All of these selected best practices were identified and then evaluated for their appropriateness in the Chicago region, and they cover examples from the following categories: energy efficiency, water conservation and water quality, resource conservation, indoor air quality, and site design.
